The Question is: Hi, Quite many printer queues have been defined on LTAxxxx ports, and are working fine. When excuting 'REPLY /ALL text', this text is broadcasted on all terminals and on 1 printer. When doing a 'REPLY /TERMINAL=LTAxxxx text', where LTAxxxx equals the printer getting the message with REPLY/ALL, the text is not printed. All parameters at the level of Terminal, device, queue and LAT port have been checked at least 5 times. The fact that REPLY /TERM doesn't broadcast the message makes me supposing that the port definition is correct, and that there is somewhere a patch to solve this problem. Regards Rudy The Answer is : The usual cause of this (mis)behaviour is another path to the printer, either from the local node or from another member of an OpenVMS Cluster. Please turn off broadcast on all LTA devices connected all printers, including any (and all) LTA paths to the target printer.
