  Various DE500 variants are around, please contact your Compaq reseller
  or Compaq representative for pricing and availability, and your hardware
  service organization for assistance with installation and configuration.
 
  Various DE500 devices are supported on V6.2 and later, though some
  variants of the DE500 can require the installation of one or more
  (available) OpenVMS ECO kits.
 
  Please see topics 2226, 2906, 3252, and 3586 for DE500 information.
 
  The DE600 series NIC is the current generation NIC, with support on
  OpenVMS Alpha V7.1-2 and later (and VMS712_UPDATE V3.0 or later,
  VMS72_HARDWARE V1.0 or later, or V7.2-1 or later).
