OpenVMS Authentication, Evasion, Auditing APIs?

The Question is:

 
Is there a way to link Apache web server authentication with the VMS security
 featuers that provide Intruder detection, evasion, and mathing audit trail?
 
If not, is there a way, aside from compiling the web server (we do not have a C
 license), to link in our own authentication module that would provide this
 functionality?
 

The Answer is :

 
  Yes, but not in a supported fashion, as all of the OpenVMS APIs that
  you seek are not currently documented -- supported access into these
  APIs and into the OpenVMS external authentication subsystem is planned
  for a future OpenVMS release.  Authentication using existing external
  authentication mechanisms via sys$acm is first supported in OpenVMS
  V7.3-1, and access to the documentation for and support for adding
  customized or site-specific authetication schemes is expected to be
  added in a subsequent release.
 
  The HP engineering team working on Apache for OpenVMS does expect
  to continue the integratation effort, and will certainly look to add
  features and support as these and other OpenVMS interfaces are made
