The Answer is : The OpenVMS Wizard will assume this is TCP/IP Services V5.0A. There is usually additional information accompanying the 660 error code, information which often points to a more specific cause or problem. (One common cause is a too-fast retry for the printer, resulting in a connection error from the printer.) Please also see the assortment of discussions on HP Printers and Telnetsym printing here in Ask The Wizard, particularly starting with topic 1020. (Information on adjusting the retry interval is included there.) You will want to contact the Compaq Customer Support Center, and you should expect to be asked for relevent information on the particular HP Printer and on the contents of relevent log files, as well as for any information accompanying the 660 error.
