Removal/deinstallation of LAT from OpenVMS?

The Question is:

 
Because LAT is an integrated product do or can you take more action to
 deinstall LAT beside removing the startinstruction from Systartup_vms.com and
 not creating the fixed Latdevices
 
Please let me know

The Answer is :

 
  LAT is part of OpenVMS, and is thus not a separately-installed
  (and thus not separately-removed) layered product.
 
  To remove OpenVMS component files, you could look at using the
  reconfiguration (OpenVMS Alpha) or tailoring (VAX) mechanisms,
  but this would be relatively unusual and not an approach that
  the OpenVMS Wizard would recommend.
