AlphaStation cache memory parity error?

The Question is:

 
Alpha station 255/233. crashed but no crash dump. Error log shows Cache Error.
 Shows
D-Cache Parity Error.  Is the D-Cache considered cache built into the cpu, or
 is it the onboard 1MB cache.  Which one would possibly be the culprit that
 needs to be checked/replaced.  Please help. Steve.
