NTP exceeds capture range? (time)

I am currently using NTP on a AlphaServer 4100 5/466 running OpenVms V6.2-1H3.
 
My question is NTP does make minor time adjustment (under 60 minutes) but what
 is it's limitation?? (ie; over 60 minutes)

The Answer is :

 
  Having just examined the TCP/IP Services 4.0 code, the maximum capture
