The Question is: Hi. I'm struggling... I've been supplied with an AlphaServer 4100. Among the IO cards installed is a KZPAC - 3 Channel RAID controller. Using the cable supplied, I don't see any of my disks in the shelf; Should I also have been supplied with the relevant KZPAC firmware? The only firmware I have (from LFU List) is Alphabois and Srmflash. The cable included is a BN38C-02. Although the 68-pin VHD plug fits into one the two card ports, the other end of the cable (68-pin HD) cable doesn't really fit perfectly in to the personalily module of the BA36R shelf (it nearly sits to tall). Have I bee n supplied with the wrong cable? Lastly, I've searched your website for a copy of SWXCRMGR to copy on to a floppy. I can only find a Netware version. I'm after an AlphaVMS version. Can you help with this too? Many thanks. Al'. The Answer is : Please contact your hardware service organization or Compaq Services, as the first part of the question appears to be a hardware-level configuration issue, and this class of problem is quite difficult to resolve via non-interactive mechanisms such as Ask The Wizard. Please contact the Customer Support Center for access to the SWXCR software.
