The Question is:

 
Is there a Telnet equivalent of SYS$REM_ID, i have used
 f$getjpi("","tt_accpornam") but is resolves the address, i want to be able to
 resolve the users name?.

The Answer is :

 
  There is no particular IP (telnet) equivilent of this DECnet capability.
