StorageWorks Diagnostic (DUP) Access?

The Question is:

 
We need to make set host style connections to our HSG80 controllers. How can we
 do this from VMS without using the Storageworks Command Console ?
( in a similar fashion to the set host/dup commands to talk to HSJ/HSD etc )
