The Question is: What does this error mean? smtp;554 Invalid data in message The Answer is : According to RFC821, this 554 code is a reply code that indicates that the SMTP transaction has failed. Probably due to something that was unappreciated when found in the SMTP file, based solely on the text. If this is a MIME message, please see previous discussions of the SFF mechanism, please use V5.0A ECO 1 or later (V5.1 or later is better), and please acquire the most recent MIME ECO kit for OpenVMS.
