The Question is:

 
How can I use CVS?
I've got the Version 1.9 of CVS and tried access the UNIX-CVS-Server via
 pserver, rsh external and rsh internal but no one does work.
 
pserver says:
recv() from server <host>: connection reset by peer
 
rsh external says:
error activating image VAXC$PATH:RSH
image file not found...
 
rsh internal (rshd) says:
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannov start server via rcmd(): not owner
 
I got the information to install the client with OPER privileges. But how?
 there is only one file (cvs.exe) to put into a directory.
Even the SYSTEM can't optain the CVS server...

The Answer is :

 
  You will want to contact folks more familiar with CVS Freeware
  and with maintaining CVS on OpenVMS than is the OpenVMS Wizard.
