The Question is:

 
How can I backup a file larger than 4GB to tape device?

The Answer is :

 
  The OpenVMS Wizard will assume you have a 4GB tape device and
  associated media, and wish to archive more than 4GB of data to
  the media.  If so, first select the appropriate available
  compression for use with the (unspecified) tape device, and
  then use the BACKUP capabilities for multi-volume savesets.
  Details on BACKUP are included in the OpenVMS System Manager's
  and the OpenVMS System Management Utilities manuals.
