The Question is:

 
We have a :
 
DIGITAL TCPIP Services  for OpenVMS Alpha Version V5.0
on a DEC -3000 -M900 running OpenVMS V7.2
 
mainly used as a POP Server
 
The Problem:
 
Following de SYSUAF crash. The message is that the sysuaf has "corrupted" and
 seems that the record size its not the correct.
 
At this point, its no possible to teceiv any SMTP mail, nor  reading wuth the
 POP client and its not possible to login

The Answer is :

 
  Please move to TCP/IP Services V5.0A or to V5.1, with current ECO.
 
  If you are unable to determine the particular (and unspecified)
  corruption reported with SYSUAF and cannot repair it using ANALYZE
  and CONVERT tools, please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center
  directly.  Expect the customer support center to ask for the output
  of ANALYZE/RMS of the SYSUAF.DAT file, and potentially for a copy of
  the reportedly-corrupt file.
