API for disk volume rebuild status?

The Question is:

 
Hi there,
 
Is there a way to get information about disk rebuild status using one of the
 lexical functions?
I have searched all f$getdvi arguments, but could not find such an item. Could
 this information be obtained using another lexical?

The Answer is :

 
  There is no documented API available for acquiring the volume rebuild
  status, though an extension to $getdvi is under consideration for
  inclusion into a future OpenVMS release.
