Switch to SRM console and Keyboard problems?

The Question is:

 
I have a AlphaStation 200 4/166 (PB41A-DB). It had firmware v5.1 running NT
 4.0. I now what to run VMS 7.2-1 on it. I can convert the consold over to SMP
 and boot VMS, however when it ask for the time set I have no keyboard working.
  I ordered the v5.9 fi
rmware, installed it and I get the same problem. The keyboard is a PCXAL-AA. On
 rebooting I get the keybard back till it asks for the time again.

  Please follow the steps in the OpenVMS FAQ for switching from
