RMS indexed file and Duplicate Keys?

The Question is:

 
Is it possible to get a duplicate key in and RMS file? If so how? Is it a bug
 in this version of VMS, and if so is there a fix for it?

The Answer is :

 
  Duplicate keys are fully supported, when enabled on the key.
 
  Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center, as additional
  details on the reported file (corruption?) problem -- including
  a more detailed problem statement -- will likely be required.
