DECnet-Plus Routing?

The Question is:

 
In a Network I've only 2 End-Nodes without any Decnet L1 Router. After a boot
 of one of them, I can't do a set host, dir, etc. from one to the other. Twice
 were good defined in local database with mc decnet_register. When I put a L1
 Decnet Router in the s
ame Network and area, I 've no problems after a boot. ? Why please ?

The Answer is :

 
  Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center, as rather
  more detail on the DECnet-Plus network configuration will be
  required -- however, DECnet-Plus does tend to expect the
