Seeking (unspecified) DEMSA software?

The Question is:

 
Where can I locate documentation and downline images for the Digital DEMSA
 server.  I have a customer that wants to make changes to their current
 configuration, but I have no known means to access it.  Can it be accessed as
 a MOP host?  The server has a l
imited life - only three to six months from now, but the changes are needed
 urgently.
 

The Answer is :

 
  As you are likely well aware, the DEMSA was retired circa 1994.
 
  The software running in the DEMSA -- various packages could reside
  within the DEMSA -- was typically accessed and managed and loaded
  via MOP.  And in the experience of the OpenVMS Wizard, MOP V3.
 
  The OpenVMS Wizard is not particularly aware of available download
  images and related software documentation -- and again, various
  network-related packages utilized the DEMSA hardware -- or the
  hardware documentation for the DEMSA itself that is generally
  available.
 
  You will want to contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for
  assistance in acquiring these old software packages.  You will
  need to specifically identify the software package(s) involved.
