The Question is: I have two system. One is online system, the other is backup system.(My system is AlphaServer 2100 4/200.) I have shawdow set disk.(mirror disk system) one is system disk, other is system disk, the other is quorum disk. I was a doing boot my system. then, $mount/system/noass $1$dkb100 ... %SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00 And completed boot my system. I was using the following command line. $show device d %SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00 Why I do solute my system. Thanks.. The Answer is : There can be no answer here, as there is insufficient information. The particular symptoms reported imply a hardware problem or a core corruption of OpenVMS itself. The OpenVMS Wizard will a request that you install the current ECOs for V6.1 (an old release, and one that is no longer supported), or move to OpenVMS V6.2 and ECOs (support available under Prior Version Support contracts), or move to the current OpenVMS release and ECOs. In particular, MOUNT was re-written for OpenVMS V6.2. If you wish to pursue this, you will want to contact the Compaq Customer Support Center.
