TCP/IP Services TFTP and BOOTP?

The Question is:

 
Hi Good day!
 
Is it possible that TFTP service can exist/work without configuring BOOTP
 service? the version of my UCX is 4.2.

The Answer is :

 
  Per the TCP/IP Services configuration tool (TCPIP$CONFIG.COM)
  documentation, these are two separate configuration steps.
  Chapters nine and ten of the TCP/IP Services (V5.1) Management
  Manual cover BOOTP and TFTP configuration and operation.  That
  said, these two mechanisms are normally used together.
 
  TCP/IP Services product documentation is available on-line, via
  pointers in the OpenVMS FAQ.
 
  Please move to TCP/IP Services V5.0A or V5.1 or later, with ECO.
