The Question is: Wizzard I am trying to get a DCPS queue enabled for a serial printer, connected via a terminal server on my local node. A quick adaptation of the startup command for IP printing failed to do the trick. The queue appears but remains stopped and any attempt to restart produces an "Abort" message. Working IP command and not working serial command product below. VMS 7.3, DCPS 1.7, latest TCP/IP Many thanks Paul $ @sys$startup:dcps$execution_queue - PALL4 - "ip_rawtcp/172.17.57.79:9100" - DCPS_LIB - "" - "/separate=(burst,notrailer,noreset)/form=coda/default=(feed,form=CODA)" - "" - "" - "" $ @sys$startup:dcps$execution_queue - RRSTORES - "serial/LTA204" - DCPS_LIB - "" - "/separate=(burst,notrailer,noreset)/form=coda/default=(feed,form=CODA)" - "19200" - "" - "" The Answer is : Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center -- perhaps there is something wrong with the IP network configuration or the printer or server device setup, or perhaps there are useful details included in the OPCOM message normally received when the queue start is attempted (and fails).
