The Question is: I have an Alphastation 500/400 running OpenVMS v7.2-1. It has two Ethernet cards (resolves to EWA-0, EWA-1), each connected to a different network. I need TCP access to both, but I don't want to route my DECnet traffic thru EWA-0. I'm thinking that DECnet is routing thru EWA-0 because I have been experiencing some network lag over DECnet. When I have a remote DECTerm opened on a server (display set back to my workstation), I will have several "network" pauses each minute. The ter m will not repaint, but there is no load on that server. And the load on my workstation is at priority 0. This lag only started when I fired up the new network card. Thanks! The Answer is : SET and DEFINE the LINE and the CIRCUIT to STATE OFF, using NCP.
