HP Printers and Formfeeds?

The Question is:

 
We print to several OCEs on site using LAT as the transmission protocol,  we
 have a need to move to TCPIP very soon.
 
The printers are connected OK and the TELNET queues have been set up.  when I
 print using a form overlay we get an extra formfeed in the data which throws
 the output.
 
Through Lat this formfeed doesn't occur.
 
The TELNET queue is set up using /NO_INITIAL_FF
but this doesn't overcome the problem.
