The Question is: Hello Wizard, is there a posibility to configure a domain suffix search order on UCX name resolving like we can do for UNIX by means of the search directive in /etc/resolv.conf ? The only thing I can find is : UCX> set config name/domain=bla.bla.bla but I am not allowed to specify a list like UCX> set config name/domain=(bla.bla.bla,some.thing.else) ( My systems are running UCX 4.2 ) The Answer is : Please move to TCP/IP Services V5.1 or (as available) a later release, and apply any available ECO kits for TCP/IP Services and for OpenVMS. Also then review the: SET NAME_SERVICE /PATH=(ucx.ern.sea.com,dux.sea.com,mux.ern.sea.com)/SYSTEM And please review the available documentation on the TCP/IP Services BIND resolver in the current TCP/IP Services documentation.
