RENAME and File Version Limit? (;32767)

The Question is:

 
I have a process that runs every 60 seconds.  A .lis file is created, and I
 need to keep the 50 latest versions of the lis file.  We keep hitting the
 maximum version and the process stops.  What should I put in the command
 procedure to do this for me?
