BACKUP and tape label selection?

The Question is:

 
When passing 3 tape #'s
i.e. label=(000499,000500,000501), when going to
the 2nd tape backup asks for tape 000500 to be
mounted (so far so good) but when asking for
the 3rd tape it asks for 000500 again instead
of 000501. Any ideas?

The Answer is :

 
  This would appear to be a bug.
 
  Please apply the available OpenVMS ECO kits and (if the problem
  persists) please contact the customer support center.  Expect
  to be asked details of the tape drive, the configuration, and
