BACKUP and DCL Error Handling?

The Question is:

 
i get the list of files recording on type
what the error message i have to expect ?

The Answer is :

 
  The OpenVMS Wizard is not aware of an inclusive list of errors.  Even
  if such a list were available, the OpenVMS Wizard would not consider
  its use here, prefering to use the $severity and $status values to
  differentiate the errors requiring specific processing from those
  that should receive more generic processing.
 
  For details on $severity and $status and basic error handling and for
  details on error handling, please see the DCL programming information
