Support for Gigabit Ethernet Adapter?

The Question is:

 
Regarding the newly released OpenVMS 7.3-1, one
of the new features is support for the 3COM Gigabit Ethernet Adapter based on
 the Tigon 3 ASIC.
 
I can't find the productnumbers on the web for these Adapters and the Compaq
 OpenVMS guru here in Denmark also don't have the information.
Do you know the productnumbers?
Will this NIC be available in both fiber and UTP?
Can I used the 3COM version, if Compaq can't deliver on time?
I am considering this product for a new AlphaServer I am about to order.
