The Question is: Is there a way to set up a print queue to always print 2 copies? We recieve a print command from an application that can not be modified to put the /copies=2 parameter on the print command. The Answer is : You could create a customized symbiont. You could use a stopped print queue and some DCL that periodically scans the queue for new entries. (Examples of DCL using f$getqui are available here in Ask The Wizard.) As entries are found, they are modified and then merged into another (and running) queue. You could also patch the image that is initially generating the print operations, of course.
