How many bytes in a block?

  for the answer to this and for answers to many other questions.
  In this particular case, three of various sections of interest of
  the OpenVMS FAQ are the following:
 
    "HOW MANY BYTES ARE IN A DISK BLOCK?"
    "HOW MANY BYTES ARE IN A MEMORY PAGE?"
    "HOW DO I CONVERT? DISK BLOCKS? KB, MB, GB, TB?"
