Is there an OpenVMS port of PostgreSQL for the Alpha processor ?
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  The OpenVMS Wizard has difficulty keeping up with new OpenVMS features
  and new capabilities and new releases, and is completely unable to keep
  up with the available open source packages nor any particular porting
  status.  Accordingly, the OpenVMS Wizard would use public web search
  tools such as (insert your favorite web search engine) and the various
  URLs listed in the OpenVMS FAQ to look for the answer(s) to this and
  other similar questions, and you can obviously perform the same searches.
 
  If you find a copy of this port or of other similar new or updated ports,
  please pass it along to the maintainer of the OpenVMS Freeware (see the
  OpenVMS FAQ) for potential inclusion on future OpenVMS Freeware CD-ROM
  distributions.
 
  Commercial third-party SQL database packages are available for OpenVMS,
  and the OpenVMS Wizard is aware of rumors of work on MySQL ports to
  OpenVMS Alpha.  (But, as stated above, the OpenVMS Wizard does not
  track this availability.)
 
  Your OpenVMS Alpha version is becoming badly outdated.  Please
  consider an upgrade to a more recent OpenVMS version.
