The Question is: I gather that an ECO is a software patch, but what does "ECO" stand for? The Answer is : ECO is Engineering Change Order, and a TIMA kit is a Time-critical Information Management Architecture kit. Both of these are common synonyms for patch kits. Another related term is the FCO, which is a Field Change Order -- from the perspective of you, the OpenVMS customer, there is no difference between an ECO and an FCO.
