External Authentication? (LDAP)

The Question is:

 
Is there external authentication support for LDAP? Is there any known 3rd party
 tools that could help?

The Answer is :

 
  There is presently no external authentication interface into LDAP,
  though such support is planned for inclusion into a future release
  of OpenVMS.
 
  Present external authentication support is provided for the LAN
  Manager and Kerberos schemes.
 
  Third-party offerings may have RADIUS authentication available.
