The Answer is : The file is gone. There is no file. There is no filename. The file was apparently moved, renamed, or deleted between the time when the BACKUP originally found and saved it, and when BACKUP later returned to attempt to set the file backup date. The command HELP/MESSAGE WRITEBACK produces: WRITEBACK, error writing backup date for 'device-name' file ID ('file-id') Facility: BACKUP, Backup Utility Explanation: The Backup utility encountered an error during an attempt to update the backup date of the specified file. If other file activity is occurring on the volume, the error may be caused by another user who may have deleted the file during the backup procedure. User Action: Take action based on the accompanying message.
