The Question is: I am running 2 ES40 Alpha servers in a cluster sharing a common disk array. Each box has 4 CPUs. I suspect the QUEUE_MANAGER is not configured quite right ... because when I submit jobs from EITHER server, they ALWAYS run on the first NODE while the second NODE is idle. I can even get all 4 CPUs on NODE1 to hit 100% utilization while all 4 CPUs on NODE2 sit idle. How does the QUEUE_MANAGER distribute jobs across the two nodes? Where can I read up on the QUEUE_MANAGER in a cluster environment and the how-to's to getting the cluster to use all 8 CPUs? In need of CPU cycles, -Bruce Buttles THANKS! The Answer is : Details of the queue configuration are included in the System Manager's manual. Two chapters exist on the topic of queues, including details on troubleshooting and on using generic queues for load balancing.
