Hardware Self-Maintenance Parts?

The Question is:

 
Hi;
We have a Digital TLZ07-AA that needs a takeup reel plastic spendal cap.  I
 have tried to find parts for digital online and HP doesn't seem to provide
 links except for all out replacement.
 
Any chance of getting access to a parts manual and then ordering the part?

The Answer is :

 
  For information on self-maintenance services, please see the
  Assisted Services link in the OpenVMS FAQ -- that said, the
  OpenVMS Wizard expects that the replacement path is the device
  and not an internal component.
 
  Given the age of this tape hardware, the OpenVMS Wizard would
  typically simply replace this DDS (DAT) device with a more
  recent (new or used) version of DDS (DAT) tape device.
