If not, please start there. You will also want to verify the contents of the FTP logs, enabling these as required -- see the TCP/IP Services manuals for details on FTP logging. You will also want to verify the system-wide login and any local login that the server(s) might encounter. Please move to a supported configuration -- your OpenVMS Alpha release is a hardware release, and your TCP/IP Services version is equivalently old. As of this writing, V7.3-1 and V5.3 (each eith the appropriate ECO kits) are current.
