Consolidated Distribution CD-ROM Product Databas

The Question is:

 
We have years worth on consolidated software distributions and sometimes we
 have to find an old version of a product. Is there a database somewhere that
 has the contents of all the distributions that could be searched for a given
 product. For example, I c
ould ask what quarterly distributions contain Compaq Fortran Version 7.3 Alpha
 and I would get a list of all the quarterly distributions that contain that
 version of Fortran.

The Answer is :

 
  You could easily create your own searchable database, based on the
