The Question is: I recently upgraded our Vax/VMS systems (cluster) to VMS 7.2, also bring Pathworks to 6.0C and TCP/IP to V5.0. However, ever since the upgrade our users, who interact with the system via menus and screens using Decforms (v1.4) have had problems with scre ens that are more "packed" with data than others(i.e. 132 column vs 80 column). The less packed (80-column) screens work fine. Some data will not initially display, but if they back out of the screen and go back into it, then the missing data will also be visible. Others have had periodic lock-ups where the window just will not go any further and they had to kill the window (con necting via TCP/IP from a PC with PowerTerm). Everything worked fine before the upgrade and the 80-column screens still seem fine. What did I miss? I thought about upgrading Decforms to v3.3, but the docs say that v3.3 is not compatible with VMS 7.2. I'd like to avoid another complete system upgrade if possible, but I need to resolve this one. Thanks for any and all pointers. The Answer is : Please contact the support center directly, as details and a reproducer will likely be required. (DECforms V1.4 is over a decade old, and its compatibility with current OpenVMS releases is not something the OpenVMS Wizard would expect has been tested.)
