Seeking SRM Firmware, Details?

The Question is:

 
We are migrating from OpenVMS v7.2-6C2 to v7.3.2
on our Alpha 600 and XP1000 workstations.
We understand that a firmware upgrade is required.  Is there a description of
 what the firmware upgrade contains and what the performance impact is of not
 installing it?

The Answer is :

 
  SRM firmware is simply a prerequisite for OpenVMS Alpha and its correct
  operation, and the contents of and changes made within SRM firmware
  releases are not particularly documented.
 
  There are no performance implications expected with this or most other
  firmware upgrades.
 
  For available information, please review the materials and release
  notes available at the SRM firmware website.  (The SRM firmware website
  is referenced within the OpenVMS Frequently Asked Questions.)
 
  If you wish to pursue this matter, please contact your hardware support
