The server code versions numbered up through 1.4 have been released by the University of Illinois to the public domain. Specifically, we give to the public domain all rights for licensing of these versions of the source code, all resale rights, and all publishing rights. The University reserves the right to maintain all ownership rights to all future versions.

We ask, but do not require, that the following message be included in all derived works:
