Possible Issues:

  1. Some websites are configured SSL only, others are non-SSL only. If you received this error and your url began with a http://, try it with https:// or vice-versa.

  2. Many websites require the user to be in the .mil domain. If you are on a government computer and you received this error try the following:

    • Access the website from a workstation known to be registered in DNS. If you can access the website from the second workstation contact your local administrator or DOIM to verify your computer is not in the .mil domain and/or to have your computer registered in DNS.
    • Verify your workstation is registered in the .mil domain by checking your IP address using "nslookup."
    • Verify Client_IP listed above is your computer's IP address. If not your request may going through a Firewall which is (Network Address Translation) NAT'ing your computer's IP to a different IP for use on the Internet. The Firewall's IP may not be registered in DNS.
    • If you are unsure whether your computer is registered in the .mil domain please contact your local administrator for assistance.

If you have tried all the above, click the link, conus-tnosc@netcom.army.mil, to send the CONUS-TNOSC an email with the pertinent information. If the link does not autopopulate the email, copy/paste the information in Bold above into the email message.
