This installation was completed on a DL580 using the SA-221
     with a Raid 0 configuration and Smart Start 4.90
Note: ROC was removed.

Boot to SS CD and configure your array
Create your SCU partition remove SS CD

Download the most recent DU from Compaq drivers website
http://www.compaq.com/support/files/Compaq_ProLiant_Servers.html
(Select server type and Solaris, the latest DU is under bundles)
Download the most recent DCA version (11/99 in this case) from Sun's website:
http://soldc.sun.com/support/drivers/dca_diskettes/

Boot to the DCA
At the first screen of the Solaris Device Configuration Assistant
Press F4_Add Driver

Bus Enumeration screen will come up
Install Supplemental Drivers screen will come up
Insert DU disk 1
Press F2_Continue
Loading Supplemental Driver Information will come up
Continue Supplemental Driver Installation will come up
Insert DU disk 2
Press F2_Continue
Loading Supplemental Driver Information will come up
Continue Supplemental Driver Installation will come up
Insert DU disk 3
Press F2_Continue
Loading Supplemental Driver Information will come up
Continue Supplemental Driver Installation will come up
Insert DU disk 4
Press F2_Continue

Eject DCA disk, click ok

Installing Solaris Software - Progress will come up
Insert disk 4 of the DU of the disk with the ROC driver
Press Enter
Installation process asked for specific DU disks.
Insert each disk and press Enter.
Additional Update Disks? (select N )

Starting OpenWindows

(server reboots)
Remove Software CD 1 from CD ROM drive

Prompted for Root password, verify

Log into Solaris
