I just added and removed with this syntax: (no, not really your list but this is the syntax: To: Mxserver@kednos.com REMOVE[/NONOTIFY] MX-LIST QUIT The must be in the <>s. REMOVE and QUIT must be on separate lines. YOU MUST BE THE LIST _OWNER_ to do this. -- VAXman- A Bored Certified VMS Kernel Mode Hacker VAXman(at)TMESIS(dot)COM "Well my son, life is like a beanstalk, isn't it?" ================================================================================ Archive-Date: Tue, 14 Oct 2008 11:14:09 -0700 From: "Tom Linden" Reply-To: MX-LIST@kednos.com To: References: <00A8118A.6F933A89.5@TMESIS.COM> Subject: RE: removing subscriber Date: Tue, 14 Oct 2008 11:14:26 -0700 Message-ID: <019b01c92e28$b2cd7a70$c700a8c0@murphus> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit In-Reply-To: <00A8118A.6F933A89.5@TMESIS.COM> Arrgh, it is case sensitive! > -----Original Message----- > From: Brian Schenkenberger, VAXman- [mailto:system@TMESIS.COM] > Sent: Tuesday, October 14, 2008 10:37 AM > To: MX-LIST@kednos.com > Subject: RE: removing subscriber > > "Tom Linden" writes: > > >> > send mail to: listname-request@your-domain.tld > >> > > >> > in the body: > >> > > >> > REMOVE[/NONOTIFY] QUIT > >> > >> I knew how to do that, I had thought there was a way to do it from > >> MCP> > >> I would have thoght that something like REMOVE LIST list-name > >> user-domain.tld would work > > > >This isn't working for me. > >I am sending to Mxserver@kednos.com > >REMOVE list-name email-address QUIT > >and it isn't working > > That's not what I wrote. ;) > > Send to: > > To: list-name-request@kednos.com > > REMOVE[/NONOTIFY] QUIT > > However, I believe you can, albeit I don't, send it to the mxserver. > I just added and removed with this syntax: (no, not really > your list but this is the syntax: > > To: Mxserver@kednos.com > > REMOVE[/NONOTIFY] MX-LIST QUIT > > The must be in the <>s. It uses menues/prompts to create the message it sends.
