I would also suggest you enabled debugging for the router to see exactly what it's doing with the message.... So make sure your rules are ordered correctly. - To avoid domain name expansion, change your "LIST" path to something like LIST.SITE. A question--I just recently noticed there are 2 null characters in the output. Right after the "total bytes" in the header. Does anyone know where these come from, and/or how to get rid of them? After examining the log files, on both the VAX and the Unix box that is trying to forward the messages to the VAX, I see that the Unix SMTP server is hitting timeout limits while waiting for answers from MX on the VAX. Looking at MX's coorsponding log files, I see that MX recorded a SEND, but it would seem that it never made it to the Unix box... I know CMU has countless programs and I'm in the process, pun, of moving to a commercial solution, but I would like to know if there is anything I can do on the MX side to comfirm that MX actually passed the packet to CMU and perhaps work around this until I can get a commercial stack running...
