Eudora includes a PGP plugin, and I believe both Netscape and Microsoft Outlook now include S/MIME support. -Dan Wing ================================================================================ Archive-Date: Thu, 29 Oct 1998 13:56:23 -0800 Message-ID: <4.1.19981029165118.00a683d0@ntpop.usnews.com> Date: Thu, 29 Oct 1998 16:57:11 -0500 To: MX-List@MadGoat.com From: Betsy Ramsey Reply-To: MX-List@MadGoat.com Subject: Sending MIME attachments with v4.2 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I'm running MX V4.2 AXP. However, I've heard peope say (but I haven't tried it myself) that messages sent via SEND/FOREIGN in V4.2 can be decoded and opened by most PC clients. They tend to ignore the "Application/VAX-VMS" type. After today's fiasco I've installed 5.1. One thing I thouht would be fixed with this release would be the ability to receive and view emails (via pop/eudora) that have line lengths greater than 255 bytes. I just received an email that had the lines cut off. Any pointers as to where to look? TIA, Steve -- Stephen Garrett GPS steve@gpsnet.com (360) 896-2714 ICQ# 10776767
