Read Me First

Unable to connect to Web sites using Server Gated Cryptography (SGC)? Some computers may be unable to connect to Web servers using SGC for strong encryption when an encrypted connection is required. Installing this update will eliminate these connection failures.

This update is available in both standard and high (128-bit) encryption.

NOTE: The high encryption version of this update is eligible for export from the U.S. to all customers worldwide, except to U.S. embargoed destinations. How to download and install
NOTE: Please save your work and close all open programs before installing.

  1. Select your language and High Encryption or Standard Encryption from the drop-down list.
    (If you have upgraded to 128-bit encryption, you must install the high encryption version of this update.)

  3. Follow the instructions on your screen.
