This update eliminates a security vulnerability in Windows 98 and Windows 98 Second Edition systems with IPX installed. Download now to help prevent a malicious user from delivering a malformed NMPI packet to your system.

Restart your computer to complete the installation.

How to uninstall
Note Please save your work and close all open applications before attempting to uninstall this update. You will need to have your original Windows 98 or Windows 98 Second Edition CD available to uninstall this update.

1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
2. Search for 273727UN.INF.
3. Once this is displayed, right-click on the file and choose Install.
