This 2 to 4 Digit Date
Conversion Tool allows IT managers to quickly and simply set the default Short
Date format in Control Panel/Regional Settings to display 4 digit years. Running this tool on any version of Windows
95 or 98 will set the year portion of the date format to display 4 digits.
Note: Setting the 4 digit
year display in Control Panel/Regional Settings is not necessary for year 2000
compliance. Changing this setting affects only the way dates are
displayed. Although a 2 digit year display is the default Windows
setting, all dates are handled internally using 4 digit years.
